The formation and incorporation of AMADI was out of the genuine desire to see Africa develop
and realize its development potential. It is a fact that economic and social development is
dependent on prudential management which is dependent on human capital development and training.
Africa has a critical dearth in capacity training. This partly explains why development has been
lethargic and unsustainable. Training, research and capacity building becomes the missing link. A
response to these and other problems AMADI was formed to:

• Provide locally accredited courses and degree programmes
• Provide research and consultancy services
• Provide short term (one to four weeks) training to Government, NGO’s and Private Organizations
and Enterprises.
• Collaborate and network with donor agencies, public and private institutions, and other NGOs
in
The implementation of local, national and regional community based projects.
• Enhance the management of resources through education activities in collaboration with the local
communities, donor agencies, public and private sectors, and other
institutions.
• Provide applied research to Governments, NGO’s and Private Organizations and
Enterprises.
• Provide consultancy services in areas of economic research and development that benefit
Governments, NGO’s and Private Organizations and Enterprises.
Link with other development partners with a view to coming up with socioeconomic strategies that
engender the development of Africa a long its shared values and objectives.

• Contribute to job creation and professionalization of industries through Learnership programmes
and trainings that improve skills, practical competences and critical work
experience
• Provide short term (one to four weeks) and long term training 1 year or more to
Government, NGO’s and Private Organizations and Enterprises.

• Provide comprehensive training to learners through learnerships in collaboration with SETA
and
various organisations
• Provide Benchmarking services for Africa’s industrial development and expertise building
enabling the sharing of the latest industry development techniques throughout the whole continent
and beyond
• Collaborate and network with donor agencies, public and private institutions, and other NGOs
in
The implementation of local, national and regional community based projects. AMADI manages and
facilitates community development projects that benefits the communities in the African region and
their governments.
